• What is the difference between using a wire grill brush and a grill wipe?

  In addition to being more laborious and often yielding poor, inconsistent results, using a conventional wire brush can scratch grilling surfaces and leave harmful metal shards behind. Selleys BBQ Tough wipes, on the other hand, feature powerful cleaning nodules that effortlessly cut through built-up grill grease and grime (without scratching any surfaces) for an absolutely immaculate, shard-free clean. However, a harder tool might be needed to scrape off hard baked-on carbonized grease and grime.

• What is the difference between a grill and a BBQ? Do Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes work for both?

  Grilling and barbequing are two distinct cooking methods that are often used on the same device (a charcoal or gas grill). Grilling is a fast-cooking technique at high temperatures with the grill door open, while barbequing is a slow-cooking method at lower temperatures with the grill door open. In Australia, “grill” and “BBQ” are used interchangeably to refer to the cooking device itself. Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes are a quick, easy, and outrageously effective way to clean any grill surface.

• How often should I use Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes?

  Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes are designed for regular maintenance and recommended for use before and after grill use.

• Can I use Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes on a hot grill?

  Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes are not recommended for use on a hot grill. They work best when the grill is warm. Let the grill cool down a bit prior to using.

• Can I use Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes on the external parts of my grill?

  Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes are designed for use on the internal parts of the grill only.

• What is Sugar Soap? Does it actually contain sugar?

  Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes are named after fine, sugar-like cleaning granules. They do not contain any actual sugar.

• We have a septic tank. Are Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes safe to clean showers?

  Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes are ideal for cleaning showers and safe in most septic systems. They do not contain any bleaches or chlorine. Just make sure you give your shower a quick rinse after use.

• Can I use Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes to clean my windows?

  We do not recommend using Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes on windows. Residue from Sugar Soap can be very difficult to remove from glass surfaces. We advise sticking with a standard glass cleaner for this application.

• Can I use Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes to remove marks on wallpaper?

  Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes can work on sealed wallpaper. We recommended testing them first in an inconspicuous area.

• Can I use Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes on fabric? In particular, car interior fabric?

  Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes could be used for this purpose, though we would normally recommend a specialty upholstery cleaner instead.

• Are Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface wipes safe to use on paint, specifically matte paint and/or ceiling paint?

  Selleys Sugar Soap Wall & Surface Wipes are great for cleaning walls, but rubbing too much or too hard in one place will burnish the paint and leave a permanently glossy patch. The wipes should not be used at all on matte paint and/or ceiling paint.

• Can I use Selleys Oven Wipes on the interior glass of the oven door?

  Selleys Oven Wipes are fine to use on the interior glass of an oven door. We recommend you wipe over any glass afterward with a clean, damp cloth.

• Can I use Selleys Oven Wipes for heavy-duty oven cleaning?

  Selleys Oven wipes are for regular/maintenance cleans and not for heavy-duty, restorative oven cleaning.

• Can I use Selleys Oven Wipes to clean my oven's exterior surfaces?

  Selleys Oven Wipes are for cleaning the interior of your oven only, not for exterior surfaces.
